About Dr Trent
- Experienced Senior Staff Specialist Tissue Pathologist (NSWHP) and Conjoint Lecturer, UNSW, with sub-specialty expertise in soft tissue tumour and renal biopsy pathology, as well as, cytopathology.
- Appointed Clinical Director/Head of Department AP November 2019.
- Advocate and medical educator for Advanced Trainees in Anatomical Pathology and medical students (UNSW) and member of NSW Health Pathology Trainee Supervisory Panel.
- Committed to ongoing best practice and optimising organisational effectiveness.
- Pro-active interest in supporting and engaging colleagues at all levels of the organisation whilst promoting evidence based benefits of workplace diversity and inclusion to deliver optimal innovation, diagnostic accuracy and quality.
- Future goals include: contributing to strategic planning and governance across Tissue Pathology; leveraging clinico-pathologic expertise through collaboration and innovation, driving advancement in service delivery/quality, Governance and Research outcomes.
